How to maintain my IWEECH bike?

Here are some tips to keep your bike in perfect condition and maximize its performance:

  • Clean your belt regularly with a damp cloth or sponge. Simply remove all traces of dirt.
  • Clean your discs with a cloth – dry or impregnated with adapted liquid you may buy in any stores. Do not use soap or alcohol as it may damage your brakes.
  • Remove your battery and clean the rest of your bike with a damp cloth.
  • Regularly clean the battery connectors on the battery itself and the frame part with a dry cloth to retrieve dust in order to keep top connections, you may also spray some Q20 lubrifier (not another brand) on the connector to improve the connection.
  • The bike is not approved for steam cleaning, high pressure cleaning or hose cleaning. Avoid spraying water directly on the electronic components (lights, battery motor cover), connectors and wires.
  • You can use a soft brush to get rid of encrusted dirt.
  • We recommend that you check your tyre pressure regularly and inflate them to a maximum of 2.5/3 bar.
  • Regularly check that all nuts and bolts are tight and tighten them if needed using the tools available in your IWEECH pocket.
  • Check the tension of the belt by pressing it firmly in the middle with your index finger. The deflection of the belt should be about 1cm. If you have a belt tension measuring tool, this means that the tension should be 28 to 40 lbs, or between 35 and 50 Hz.

How to repair a flat tire?

You can have your wheel changed and repaired at any bike shop. To avoid new punctures, we advise you to regularly check the pressure of your tires and inflate them at 2,5 to 3 bars for best comfort, and up to 4,5 bars if you really want to avoid maximum punctures.

How do you provide IWEECH premium after-sales service?

We provide an exclusive centralized after-sales service. In case of problem you just need to connect with us using the chat at connecting with IWEECH team within app, most of the problem may be solved directly. In case we need to repair your bike at our workshop, we will bring your IWEECH back to our workshop and send it back when done. In case of unavailability for more than 7 days we will provide you with a courtoisy IWEECH.

How does IWEECH premium after sales service works ?

Providing quality after-sales service is a very important mission for us. Mechanically, your IWEECH bike works like any other bike, so your nearest bike shop will be able to service your IWEECH without any problems. You can also contact us using the chat in your app, we will be happy to help you. If you have a problem with any of the electrical or electronic components of your IWEECH bike (the motor, battery, electronics or lights…), please contact us directly via the chat of your app for direct assistance. What are the opening hours of the after-sales service?

Our team will answer your questions in less than 5 minutes during our opening hours : Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 6pm. If you have a question outside these hours, leave us your email address and we will get back to you as soon as possible even during week-ends!

Can I return my IWEECH ?

In case you are not satisfied, you can return your unused IWEECH within 30 days. Check our “Terms and conditions” on the website and Contact us for instructions.

What is the "serenity pack"?

We offer a bike servicing service to simplify your daily life. As soon as you need to have your bike serviced, contact us by chat or by email at the support address and we will make an appointment for you with one of the 380 approved repairers in France (see the map ). With this pack you are guaranteed to have a bike in good working order, repaired by a competent professional. In addition, to avoid forgetting, we send you an alert one month before the expiry date of your pack to arrange an appointment.
